The 2025 Summer Arts Festival kicks off their Free Summer Classic Movies series featuring "Sunset Boulevard" on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at The Lyric Theatre in Blacksburg, VA.
"Sunset Boulevard" celebrates its 75th Anniversary and is a 1950 dark comedy and psychological drama rated Approved and stars William Holden, Gloria Swanson and Erich von Stroheim and was directed by Billy Wilder.
Film Synopsis: A hack screenwriter develops a dangerous relationship with a faded silent film star determined to make a triumphant return after fading into Hollywood obscurity.
