Summer Arts Festival (Arts / Theatre)
Biography:
The Summer Arts Festival is created each summer since 1992 through the joint efforts of Virginia Tech's School of Performing Arts and the Town of Blacksburg. This Festival has become a tradition that is now solidly established. We have developed a very strong audience base and the Festival continues to be a welcome tradition to both the university and the community.
Each summer from June to August the festival organizes cultural events including live concerts on Henderson Lawn, theatrical performances and art shows at Virginia Tech and classic movies at The Lyric. And, admission to all events is free.
