The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts presents the play "Little Women" with five performances starting on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 through Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Moss Arts Center.

The play "Little Women" is by Kate Hamill and adapted from the novel by Louisa May Alcott and directed by Amanda J. Nelson.

Jo March isn’t your typical Victorian lady. She’s indecorous and headstrong, and one day she’s going to be a great American novelist. As she and her sisters grow up in the middle of the Civil War, they strive to be brave, intelligent, and imaginative young women. But as adulthood approaches, each sister must negotiate her private ambitions with society’s expectations. In a war-torn world defined by gender, class, and personal tragedy, Jo March gives us her greatest story: that of the March sisters, four dreamers destined to be imperfect little women.

Admission is $15.00 for the general public and $12.00 for seniors, students and youth.

All seating is general admission. Tickets will also be available at the door beginning one hour prior to the performance.

The run time is approximately two hours including one 15 minute intermission.
