Summer Musical Enterprise presents the original murder mystery titled "Girls Just Wanna Kill Ron" with two performances on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at The June Bug Center and on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Warm Hearth Village.

UPDATE: The events have been completely rehauled with just two performances now instead of the four originally scheduled and both at new locations.

• Saturday, May 3rd at 6:30 PM at Warm Hearth Village

Get ready for a night of suspense, drama, and maybe a little bit of dancing at our Murder Mystery event, "Girls Just Wanna Kill Ron", an original murder mystery soaked in the 80s! The 1985 Prom Reunion Committee is reuniting for a night of nostalgia, but things take a dark turn when Ron ends up dead. Whitney, the Senior Class President, is on the edge and Jennifer is trying to keep her from losing it. Will Cyndi's wild antics or Bruce's rivalry with Ron lead to murder? It's up to you to solve the mystery and figure out who dunnit before the night is over!

Admission includes the performance and heavy hors d'oeuvres (meatballs, veggie tray, crostina with feta spread, chicken tenders, cookie & brownie tray). Warm Hearth will also offer beer and wine for $5.00 and cocktails for $7.00. Seating will be in Warm Hearth's Tall Oaks Hall.

The cost at Warm Hearth Village is $25.00 per ticket.

The Summer Musical Enterprise (SME) was formed in the fall of 1992 as a result of the production of The Music Man. SME has produced a major musical every summer from 1992 to present.

The organization has attempted to provide a musical theatre outlet for families in the area and is structured to allow all members of a family to be involved in the production. The opportunity for the youth to be involved in the productions provides a rich learning environment that is consistent with the creative fabric of our community.
