Freak Rangers (Band)
Biography:
Freak Rangers perform homespun psychedelic fun and are from Roanoke, VA. Finding the groove from the past and taking it further. Jay Gladden and Matt Leonard join Bradley Carr, Timbo Sims and John McBroom to continue the journey that Red Weather started in the early 1990s.
Three-fifths of the Freak Rangers come from a band named Red Weather; Bradley, John and Timbo. Red Weather toured from 1993 to 1999 and released three projects before coming off the road and played occasionally till the passing of drummer Thomas Wilson in 2015. Since then the three have played together in a few other projects and sat-in a lot with each other’s more recent projects.
