Grayson Samples (Band)
Biography:
Grayson Samples is an Appalachian musician who performs folky bluegrass and everything in between from West Virginia.
Grayson comes from a long line of roving musicians that have filled the mountains of Appalachia with songs and smiles for decades. With his roots firmly planted in traditional music, he blends his harmonica driven sound crossing many genre of music including his original creations. Folky, bluesy, smokey, grassy, just a few words to describe this sound.
Grayson has been playing in various bands and been a solo performer since the early nineties. Bluegrass, blues, jam grass bands, folks groups and traditional music to name a few. He has been a staple in the Mack Samples band, formerly The Samples Brothers band, for over twenty years. Appearing at countless folk, bluegrass, local and state festivals and many private gatherings and parties. Crossing the occasional state line and doing a gig or two in Nashville as well. He has also done many live in the studio radio broadcast.
