Edgewood Heavy (Band)
Biography:
Described as “a mix of Black Pumas, The Black Keys, and Outkast,” Edgewood Heavy has taken the Southeastern music scene by storm. Their rise has been nothing short of explosive, with standout performances on NPR’s “Sounds Like ATL” (WABE), the 2025 NACA National Showcase in Philadelphia, and major festivals like One Music Fest (drawing over 50,000 fans), Wire & Wood Fest, Stone Mountain Soul Fest, and Inman Park Fest. They’ve also opened for David Ryan Harris and shared the stage with Lady Wray, proving their versatility and broad appeal. Not just performers, but curators of culture, Edgewood Heavy has hosted their own Atlanta music festival, 'Edgewoodstock' for two years and even collaborated with local brewery Soul Brothers to craft their signature beer, Edgewood Hefe.
