Appalachian Veterinary Services, Inc. presents their 5th Annual Open House on Saturday, July 15, 2025.

Join us for our 5th Annual Open House and hangout with your local mixed animal veterinary team for a fun filled day of education and kid friendly activities including pony rides, hands-on activities and more! Meet our team in a casual, low-pressure environment, discover local agricultural producers, and support other local small businesses.

Events include:
- Educational Workshops and Demonstrations: We'll be hosting several informative demonstrations throughout the day including live farriery and equine chiropractic work. Watch a local farrier demonstrate live hoof trimming and forging.

- Fun Activities for Kids: Bring the whole family along, as we have planned engaging activities for children. From our interactive booths and slip-knot tying competition to pony rides and inflatables, we'll ensure that everyone has a memorable and enjoyable experience.

- Raffles and Giveaways: Participate in our exciting raffles and giveaways for a chance to win fantastic prizes donated by our local community. From pet care packages, gift cards and apparel, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

- Meet and Greet with Our Veterinarians: Interact with our compassionate and skilled veterinary team, who will be available to discuss your pet's health, provide advice on pet care, and share valuable insights about our services. Learn about preventive care, vaccinations, dentistry, and much more.

- Local Vendors: Meet many local vendors from our community who will be showcasing their products and services. Learn more about buying local produce from farmers or getting a treat or accessory for your furry best friend.

Admission is free.
