The Pembroke Police Department presents Movie Night in the Park featuring "Zootopia 2" followed by a Fireworks Show on Friday, July 3, 2026 outside at Pembroke Town Park & Treasure Island Playground.

Enjoy a movie under the stars with the free movie starting at dusk. The is the perfect kickoff to your 4th of July weekend! And, stick around after the credits for a fantastic fireworks display!

"Zootopia 2" is a 2025 computer animated animal buddy cop adventure starring the voices of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman and Ke Huy Quan. The film is rated PG.

Movie Synopsis: Brave rabbit cop Judy Hopps and her friend, the fox Nick Wilde, team up again to crack a new case, the most perilous and intricate of their careers.

Fresh popcorn, snow cones and cotton candy will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring their own movie night snacks as well.

Admission is free though donations will be accepted.

Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, family, and friends for a fun night in one of Pembroke's favorite gathering places.

Note: This event was originally scheduled for Saturday, June 27th, but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Pembroke Town Park & Treasure Island Playground is located at 115 Pembroke Park Lane in Pembroke, VA near the small baseball field near the Ruritan Club.
