The Last Call Animal Foundation presents Beasts in the Bayou, an untamed dinner event benefiting Mercer County Humane Society, on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at The Bad Apple in Pembroke, VA.

Step into the Bayou for a night of live jazz, Creole-inspired cuisine, specialty cocktails, and animal-print flair. Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail, a three-course dinner, live entertainment by The Bourbon Street Express, and plenty of wild Bayou fun.

Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite animal print, animal-inspired accessories, or Bayou best. Have fun with it!

Proceeds will help Last Call Animal Foundation support homeless animals in our community and for this event in particular will benefit Mercer County Humane Society.

Dinner Menu:
• First Course: Citrus & Greens Salad:
Baby greens, blood oranges, candied pecans, feta cheese, shaved fennel, and citrus vinaigrette.

• Second Course: Bad Apple Shrimp & Grits:
Shellfish-free accommodations available upon request.

• Third Course: Bananas Foster Bread Pudding & Coffee:
Gluten-free brownie available upon request.

Delicious craft cocktails will also be available for purchase throughout the event. Cash or Venmo accepted for additional cocktail purchases.

Last Call Animal Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to supporting local animal rescue efforts in the New River Valley through fundraising and community outreach.
