The Calfee Community & Cultural Center presents the Together We Rise Gala on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

Join us for “Together We Rise,” an inspiring evening in support of the Calfee Community and Cultural Center. This special gala will feature a catered dinner catered by Commonwealth Catering, dancing, and music by DJ Spin Doctor, along with drinks and an exciting silent auction and raffle. Guests will gather to celebrate community, culture, and opportunity while raising vital funds to support the Harmon Learning Center and the African American Heritage Center helping us continue to educate, preserve history, and uplift future generations.

The menu includes:
• Chicken
• Roast Beef
• Vegetarian Lasagna
• Mashed Potato Bar
• Summer Salad

And, featuring our signature sip The Sankora Sparkler, a signature cocktail created by exclusively for Together We Rise.

The raffle features multiple prizes including a New River Retreat Getaway, Steelers Night Under the Lights, New River Adventure for Two and Gear and a piece of an Appalachian Art. Raffle proceeds support the installation of the Quiet Courage exhibit at the African American Heritage Center in Pulaski County, helping preserve and share stories of resilience and community.
