Friends of the Montgomery-Floyd Regional Library presents the 30th Annual New River Valley Garden Tour on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at various locations across the Town of Blacksburg, VA.

This self guided tour features six lovely private gardens in the Miller-Southside/Airport Acres area of Blacksburg, VA showcasing innovative, specialty and simply beautiful private gardens. The tour also includes musicians and plein air artists at each garden. Master Gardeners, the Virginia Native Plant Society and more will also be on site.

2026 New River Valley Garden Tour Line-Up:
• Campbell Garden, 902 Preston Avenue Blacksburg
• Shawhan & Bechtel Garden, 511 Fairview Avenue, Blacksburg
• Coble Garden, 603 Airport Road, Blacksburg
• Sutphen & Clark Garden, 618 Fairview Avenue, Blacksburg
• Kirchgessner Garden, 606 Rose Avenue, Blacksburg
• Whitlow Garden, 604 Rose Avenue, Blacksburg

Tickets are $20.00 per person and include a program and a map.

Tickets are available starting June 1st online at https://mfrlfriends.org/wp/garden-tour/ and in person at the Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Jesse Peterman and Meadowbrook Libraries and at each garden on the day of the tour.

Note: Online ticket sales will close at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 10th.

Bring cash or check to enter the $10.00 raffle for a chance to win a plumbed rain barrel painted by a local artist.

All proceeds will benefit the local library programs. Thanks to our business and private sponsors that assure all ticket proceeds go directly to local libraries.

The tour takes place rain or shine.
