Runabout Sports presents the 6th Annual Huckleberry Jam Point-to-Point 8.1 Mile and 2.5 Mile Runs on Sunday, May 3, 2026 on the Huckleberry Trail with the 8.1 Mile Run starting at the Christiansburg Rec Center and the 2.50 Mile Run starting at the Corporate Research Center in Blacksburg, VA with both runs finishing at RunAbout Sports in Blacksburg, VA.
Race Schedule:
• 6:45-7:45 AM: Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup
• 8:00 AM: 8.1 Mile Race starts at Christiansburg Rec Center
• 8:30 AM: 2.5 Mile Race starts on Corporate Research Center (1311 Research Center Drive)
• ~9:20 AM: First Shuttle Departs RunAbout Sports to Christiansburg Rec Cetner
• ~10:15 AM: Final Shuttle Departs RunAbout Sports (after final finisher)
The Huckleberry Jam offers two race distance options, 8.1 miles and 2.5 miles. Both race distances are point-to-point courses finishing at RunAbout Sports. Two aid stations will provide water and Gatorade along the 8.1 mile course. There are no aid stations for the 2.5 mile course.
RunAbout Sports will be donating all net proceeds to the Friends of the Huckleberry Trail. The group uses 100% of donations and funding for the engineering and construction of the Huckleberry Trail and the amenities along the trail.
The 8.1 Mile Run is $40.00 and the 1.75 Mile Run is $29.00 if purchased by Saturday, June 1st. After June 1st, the 8.1 Mile Run is $45.00 and the 1.75 Mile Run is $32.00.
Participants may purchase an add-on shuttle ticket for $5.00 per person when registering. If you have a ride, you are not required to purchase a shuttle pass.

All finishers will receive an engraved rail-road spike finisher award with overall awards for the top three male and female finishers. The top two finishers in each age group also receive awards.
All participants registering on or before April 19th are guaranteed a race shirt. Additional shirts will be ordered and available while quantities last.
Packet pickup is available prior to the race on Saturday, May 2nd at RunAbout Sports from 4:00-7:00 PM. Race day packet pickup is from 6:45-7:45 AM at Christiansburg Rec Center.
Parking is available at the Christiansburg Rec Center for the 8.1 mile race. Parking is available at the Corporate Research Center for the 2.5 mile race. Spectators and those picking up runners from the finish may park near RunAbout Sports in the First & Main shopping center.
