WUVT 90.7 FM presents The Hard Rock of Blacksburg (THROB) featuring a Blues Show, Block Party and Epic Conclusion on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in downtown Blacksburg, VA.

Event Schedule:
• 12:00-3:00 PM: Blues Show at Draper Street Stage
• 3:30-7:00 PM: Block Party at Market Square Park
• 8:30-11:00 PM: The Epic Conclusion at The Milk Parlor

Enjoy a full day of live music with The Hard Rock of Blacksburg taking place entirely on Draper Road in downtown Blacksburg. Kicking off the fun is a Blues Show featuring music from Bunco and Studio 249 on the Draper Street Stage.

Bunco is a new collaboration of seasoned and greatly talented musicians playing a unique blend of blues, funk, rock and soul from Virginia's Blue Ridge.

Bunco is comprised of band members Dan O'Donnell, Travis Holland, Thor Haines and Dana Robertson.

Studio 249 hails from Virginia Tech and plays a fantastic summer evening mix of beach, boat and classic rock.

From 3:30-7:00 PM enjoy the Block Party with WUVT DJs spinning vinyl from WUVT's very own stacks, games, face painting and record sales at Market Square Park.

Wrap up the fun at The Milk Parlor with The Epic Conclusion featuring music from Babe Haven, Scarlet Demore and Playrite. The cover is $10.00 for The Milk Parlor show. Doors open at 8:00 PM and the music begins at 8:30 PM.

The outdoor portions of The Hard Rock of Blacksburg Festival are free and all are welcome.
