Description:
Blacksburg Dance Theater presents the three-week class "Intro to West Coast Swing" starting on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

This three-week course is the perfect introduction to West Coast Swing, designed to build a solid foundation in West Coast Swing technique as well as general social dancing skills. Over three consecutive weeks you’ll explore the dance’s connection, rhythms, spatial and pattern structure, character, and motion. We’ll also cover West Coast Swing’s history, evolution, and current social etiquette so you feel confident on the dance floor.

The cost is $15.00 per class or a special intro package of $40.00 for all three classes.

Come learn something new, meet new people, and enjoy dancing to fun music!
