The Christiansburg Library hosts the 2026 Spring Plant and Seed Swap on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Join the the NRV Master Gardener’s Plant and Seed Swap at the library.

Do you have extra plants you’ve grown for your garden you’d like to give away? How about some house plants? Or perennials? Extra seeds? We will also accept small shrubs and trees (bare root). All we ask is that plants are disease free and labeled. All can be swapped here!

For every plant or seeds you bring you can take a plant, shrub, tree, or seeds from someone else. If plants are still available after everyone has taken their allotted plants or seeds, you can take what’s left if you want.

Master Gardeners will also have a plant clinic, so bring your gardening questions.

Drop off plants between 12:30-1:00 PM and get ready to start picking plants at 1:00 PM.

The Christiansburg Library is located at 125 Sheltman Street in Christiansburg, VA.
