Claytor Lake State Park presents the program "Fantastic Foraging" on Saturday, May 9, 2026.

Have you ever picked wild blackberries or collected wild herbs for a recipe? Congratulations, you are a forager!

Join our volunteer John Duncan as we take a short guided hike down the Poplar Trail searching for wild edible plants and trees while connecting with the natural world and learning more about where exactly food comes from.

The event is free, but the $7.00 state park parking fee per vehicle still applies.

Claytor Lake State Park is located at 6620 Ben H. Bolen Drive in Dublin, VA.
