Historic Smithfield presents a Children's Storytime and Craft Hour featuring the book "Ellen's Broom" on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
Bring your little learners for a morning of stories and creativity! We’ll read "Ellen’s Broom", a delightful story full of imagination and whimsy, and then craft and decorate our very own small brooms using dowel rods. Parental help is welcome depending on age and skill.
This program encourages imagination, creativity, and early connections to history in a warm, welcoming setting.
Admission is free and fun for all young learners and their families!
Suggested age is grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
Perfect for families, homeschool groups, and little history lovers.
