Description:
Mist on the Mountain presents Kinnfolk in concert on Friday, February 27, 2026 at Odd Fellows Building Lodge #20 in Blacksburg, VA.
We are excited to bring Kinnfolk to Blacksburg for a house-style concert. Based in Roanoke, Josh and Julie's smooth harmonies, hot instrumentals, and fun shows have earned them a large and growing following at Celtic festivals and online, and a good time is guaranteed!
Josh and Julie Kinn weave bouzouki, bodhran, and smooth vocal harmonies in their Celtic folk music from the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains to form Kinnfolk.
The duo’s musical style is heavily influenced by the sounds of the Roanoke, Virginia traditional Irish session, where they met in 2017. Since forming Kinnfolk in late 2018, the pair have played at festivals, breweries, and listening rooms all over the Southwest Virginia region.
