The Meadowbrook Public Library presents Hygge Afternoon 2026 on Saturday, January 10, 2026.

Join us for a hygge (pronounced hoo-gah) afternoon at the library! Hygge is the Danish practice of coziness and warmth and is perfect for the long, cold winter nights. We will have board games, coloring, puzzles, hot chocolate bar, snacks and of course, a cozy atmosphere.

Get cozy by joining in your PJ's! Bring your own projects, books, or headphones.

This is a multi-generational event so bring someone special and be hygge together.

The Meadowbrook Public Library is located at 267 Alleghany Spring Road in Shawsville, VA.
