Floyd County Parks and Recreation presents the Annual Floyd Christmas Parade with the theme "Small Town Christmas" with the new date of Sunday, December 7, 2025 in downtown Floyd, VA.

Join us for Floyd County's Annual Christmas Parade filled with holiday cheer, twinkling lights and community spirit in the heart of Floyd! The parade route will go straight through the heart of Floyd following the same route from years past.

The theme is "Small Town Christmas" celebrating the heart and togetherness of our amazing community.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Floyd United Methodist Church will be serving free hot chocolate on their front lawn before the Christmas Parade.

It’s going to be an afternoon full of festive cheer, fun for the whole family and holiday spirit in our beautiful town. Don't miss out!

Anyone can enter the parade. Floats, cars, horses, walkers, and more are all welcome to participate in the parade. The float registration deadline is Friday, November 21st and registration is $10.00 per float. We will not accept any registrations after the deadline.

Note: The parade was originally scheduled for Sunday, November 30th, but was postponed due to expected inclement weather due to a winter weather advisory.
