The Blacksburg Library presents Paws for a Break on Reading Day on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

College students, "paws" for a break during Reading Day!

Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center will be bringing shelter cats to the Blacksburg Library for socialization and cuddles, and therapy dog Seamus will be here for you as well.

Free Cat Café tickets will be available at the circulation desk starting at 9:00 AM the day of the event. Spots limited, so grab tickets as soon as you can!

Show your student ID at the circulation desk for free coffee, tea, or hot chocolate all day (while supplies last).

The Blacksburg Library is located at 200 Miller Street in Blacksburg, VA.
