Moon Hollow Brewing presents Watermelon Whimsy with Music from Furious Jones on Friday, July 4, 2025.

We’re having a special Watermelon Whimsy celebration! Enjoy live music from Furious Jones from 2:00-5:00 PM, free ice cream floats and we're releasing a brand new beer, Down to Earth Watermelon Blonde Ale!

Starting at noon, while supplies last, snag a free ice cream float made with ice cream from Big Lick Ice Cream and our house made craft soda. Ice cream flavors will be vanilla and strawberry. Soda flavors will be root beer and lemon vanilla.

Singer and songwriter Furious Jones currently resides in Blacksburg, VA though originally from Houston, TX. Enjoy a live acoustic solo show featuring Americana, blues, folk and rock with both originals and extensive covers.

Down to Earth Watermelon Blonde Ale is brewed with honey, watermelon purée and a hint of lime. There will also be slushies that will be watermelon flavored with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available. There will also be a Watermelon Lime Craft Soda with an optional coconut cream addition.

There is no cover charge.
