Rock House Marina hosts the 8th Annual Go For The Gusto Event with Music from GrapeJam on Saturday, June 14, 2025 starting and ending at Rock House Marina..

Race Schedule:
• 9:30 AM: The Master Paddle Paddle Board Race (4.5 Mile)
• 9:30 AM: Buona Fide Paddle Board Race (2.2 Mile)
• 9:30 AM: The Kahuna Kayak Competition (2.5 Mile)

Calling all paddlers! The Annual Gusto Event launches from the Rockhouse Marina on Peak Creek in Pulaski County, VA. The Master Paddler (4.5 miles), Buona Fide (2.2 miles) paddle board races and the Kahuna Kayak Contest (4.5 miles) lead contestants on a course up and Peak Creek then back to the Rock House.

Race entrants will receive a Gusto race jersey. This year's awards will come in the form of a striking handsome green fedora.

Entry for racing competitors is $25.00 per person. Spectators are free.

Competitors can register online at https://paddleguru.com/races/The8thAnnualGustowithGRAPeJAM or by calling 540-577-5917 and ask for the Gusto or on the morning of the event if you arrive early.

After the races, we'll hear music from the Greater Pulaski Junior Appalachian Musicians (GRAPeJAM) who will play a few tunes.

Paddle board and kayak rentals will be available at Rock House Marina on race day, but arrive early.

The event is rain or shine.
