Appalachian Veterinary Services, Inc. presents their 4th Annual Open House on Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Come hangout with your local veterinary team for a fun filled day of education and kid friendly activities! Meet local agricultural producers, help support your neighborhood 4H groups, and shop from small local businesses!

Events include:
- Educational Workshops and Demonstrations: We'll be hosting several informative demonstrations throughout the day including live farriery. Watch a local farrier demonstrate live hoof trimming and forging. Also join us to learn about managing pet emergencies.

- Raffles and Giveaways: Participate in our exciting raffles and giveaways for a chance to win fantastic prizes donated by our local community. From pet care packages, gift cards and apparel, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

- Meet and Greet with Our Veterinarians: Interact with our compassionate and skilled veterinary team, who will be available to discuss your pet's health, provide advice on pet care, and share valuable insights about our services. Learn about preventive care, vaccinations, dentistry, and much more.

- Local Vendors and Live Music: Come meet many local vendors from our community who will be showcasing their products and services. Also enjoy live music from a local band. Learn more about buying local produce from farmers, getting a treat or accessory for your furry best friend or a sweet treat for yourself from the 4H bake sale!

- Fun Activities for Kids: Bring the whole family along, as we have planned engaging activities for children. From face painting, friendship bracelet making & pony rides to inflatables, we'll ensure that everyone has a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Spread the word and invite your friends, neighbors, and fellow pet lovers to join us for a day filled with joy, education, and the celebration of our beloved animal friends. Together, last year's Open House had record-breaking attendance, let's make this year's Open House an unforgettable and even bigger event!
