The Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery presents their 2025 Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26, 2025.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend this tribute to honor and remember the men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation from the Revolutionary War to present day.

The keynote speaker will be Lieutenant Colonel Adrien G. Humphreys (US Army), Commander of the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Captain Gary Powers (U.S. Navy, Retired) will serve as emcee and music will be provided by bagpiper Andrew Meeks and singer Rodney Christman.

To commemorate Memorial Day, American flags will be placed on all grave sites and the Avenue of Flags will be erected along the circle drive thanks to Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery Volunteers prior to the ceremony.

Admission is free.

Shuttle service will be provided from Dublin Municipal Park. Parking is available on-site and at the nearby Lions Club.

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) recommends that attendees arrive 30 minutes early to allow for parking and to be seated prior the start of the ceremony.

Co-sponsors of the ceremony are the members of the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery Volunteers.
