Moon Hollow Brewing presents their 6th Annual Pink Moon Milkshake IPA Release with Live Music from Amelia Empson on Friday, April 11, 2025.

This delicious brew is super special not only because it tastes great, but because every year it’s brewed in honor of International Women’s Day. A portion of sale from every pint sold will benefit the Pink Boots Society, a non profit organization dedicated to promoting women and/or nonbinary in the fermentation industry through education and scholarship.

Amelia Empson will be performing from 6:30-9:00 PM.

Amelia Empson plays a variety of Indie-Folk and Americana covers and originals from the Appalachian Mountains with talent far beyond her years.

This year the Pink Boots Society Blue Ridge VA came out to Moon Hollow to participate in the brewing of this beer. The Pink Moon is brewed and dry hopped with the special 2023 Pink Boots Blend by Yakima Chief Hops (a fruity blend of Ahtanum, El Dorado, HBC 638 and Idaho 7 hops). The additions of lactose, peach purée and vanilla bean make for a sweet and rich flavor reminiscent of a peach milkshake.
