RunAbout Sports presents the 7th Annual Shamrock 4 Miler and Lucky Leprechaun 1K Fun Dash on Saturday, March 21, 2025 starting and ending at Blacksburg High School.

Race Schedule:
• 7:45-8:50 AM: Shamrock 4 Miler Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up
• 7:45-10:15 AM: Lucky Leprechaun Race Day Registration
• 9:00 AM: Shamrock 4 Miler Start
• 10:30 AM: Lucky Leprechaun Starts

Join us for the Annual Shamrock 4 Miler presented by Skip Slocum & Associates, Roots Realty Group! This race is the 2nd event of the 2025 RunAbout Race Series. The Shamrock 4 Miler is on a one-loop course on Prices Fork Road, Plantation Road and the Hethwood bike paths. Four-mile participants receive a long-sleeve shirt (guaranteed if registered by March 9th) and finisher medal. After March 9th, you may not see your preferred size (or any size if we sell out) at the time of registration.

The Lucky Leprechaun Dash presented by Adjust NRV is a 1-kilometer race on the Blacksburg High School cross country course at 10:30 AM. It is a free event for all the young runners. Children running the Lucky Leprechaun Dash will receive a medal.

Registration can be made online or in person at Runabout Sports located at 1470 South Main Street, Suite #100 in Blacksburg, VA within the First & Main Shopping Center or on the day of the race before the race begins.

The best leprechaun costume wins a free pair of shoes from RunAbout Sports! So make sure to wear your green and costumes if you want.

The race is a fundraiser for the Blacksburg High School Track and Cross Country team so your attendance supports running in your community.

Awards will be given out for the overall top three male and female finishers and by age groups.

Post-race food and drinks will be near the finish line.

Packet pick-up is available on Friday, March 21st from 3:00-6:00 PM at Runabout Sports or before the race on race day from 7:45-8:50 AM.

There is plenty of parking in the lots in front of Blacksburg High School.
