Description:
Blacksburg Contra Dance presents their January Blacksburg Contra Dance on Saturday, January 18, 2025 on the dance floor at the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

Dance Schedule:
• 7:00-7:30 PM: Beginners Lesson
• 7:30-10:30 PM: Contra Dance

Join us with incredible music from Playing with Fyre (Rob Zisette and George Paul) with George Segabade serving as the caller for the dance!

Contra Dance is a traditional American dance in which couples dance in two long facing lines or in groups of four.

The cost is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and children under the age of 16 are free.

No experience necessary. No partner required. All dances taught.

A beginner lesson starts at 7:00 PM and the dancing starts at 7:30 PM.

All are welcome.

Tell all your family, friends, co-workers, and everyone you know to come too!

If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself so we can see you at our next dance.

The YMCA at Virginia Tech is located at 1000 North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA.
