The New River Valley Master Gardeners (NRVMGA) presents their Winter Jug Sowing Workshop on Saturday, January 25, 2025 in the Montgomery County Government Center Multi-Purpose Room 1 in Christiansburg, VA.

Join the NRV Master Gardeners for our very popular Winter Sowing Workshop, led by Master Gardener Beth Kirby! Learn how to start your seeds in milk jugs to get an early start. You will be able to take home two jugs planted with your choice of seeds.

The cost is $5.00 for the general public. Cash or check accepted.

The New River Valley Master Gardnerers are committed to learning and to communicating their knowledge of gardening to others. Master Gardeners will direct their efforts to creating and maintaining an awareness of the need for intelligent stewardship of the environment.

The purpose of the association is to provide service to the community by promoting good horticultural practices in accordance with standards approved by the Virginia Cooperative Extension (VCE) and its Master Gardener Program, and to foster communication, education, and fellowship among its members.
