Glade Road Growing presents a Winter Solstice Sunrise Farm Walk on Saturday, December 21, 2024.

Join us on a farm walk at daybreak to watch the sunrise welcoming the first day of winter and to celebrate the conclusion of another wonderful year on the farm!

We'll leave from the green farm gate and the end of the parking lot at 6:30 AM. We’ll hike to the seldom-visited back potato hill where we’ll get a panoramic view to the east to watch the colors of the sunrise.

Our back potato hill is about a half-mile cold walk, uphill on uneven terrain in dim light, but so worth it!

We’ll have a toast of warm apple cider at the top. Bring your mug!
