Description:
Blacksburg Contra Dance presents a special Blacksburg Contradance, Rushfest with Emily Rush, on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

Emily Rush is bringing Rushfest to Blacksburg! Don't miss this special opportunity to dance and sing along to popular recorded music. You will be led by Emily's clear calling, energetic style, and infectious smile. We are so lucky to snag Emily for this special Sunday afternoon dance. Rushfest is usually only experienced at national dance weekend events.

There will be a beginner lesson at 2:30 PM and the dance will start at 3:00 PM.

Admission is $12.00 for adults, $10.00 for students and children under 16 are free.

Tell all your family, friends, co-workers, and everyone you know to come too! Better yet bring them along.

No experience necessary. No partner required. All dances taught.

All are welcome.

If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself so we can see you at our next dance.

The YMCA at Virginia Tech is located at 1000 North Main Street in Blacksburg, VA.
