Description:
Blacksburg Contra Dance presents their October Blacksburg Contradance on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the YMCA at Virginia Tech.

Join us on Saturday to dance to the music of The McKenzies with LP Kelly calling the dance! Tell all your family, friends, co-workers, and everyone you know to come too! Better yet bring them along.

Contra Dance is a traditional American dance in which couples dance in two long facing lines or in groups of four.

A beginner lesson begins at 7:00 PM and the dancing starts at 7:30 PM.

No experience necessary. No partner required. All dances taught.

All are welcome.

If you feel sick or were recently exposed to someone with symptoms of an illness that may be contagious, please stay home and take care of yourself so we can see you at our next dance.
