The Pearisburg Merchants Association presents the 9th Annual Pearisburg Scarecrow Festival on Saturday, October 5, 2024 on Wenonah Avenue and Tazewell Streets in downtown Pearisburg, VA.
Join us for our annual Pearisburg Scarecrow Festival where our merchants and community come together to provide a day of family fun! This fun, family friendly, fall festival features one of kind scarecrow displays with more than 20 scarecrows on exhibit, food, shopping, family games, entertainment, Spook Out Cancer Car Show and more!
Entertainment begins at 11:00 AM with local band Attic Static, followed by Dance Motion, Appalachian Aftershock, The Divided Highway and Crystal River Band. Additionally enjoy special appearances by Sparky, Tron and the Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valiant and Captain Joe.
The Spook Out Cancer Car Show is open to all cars with dash plaques given out to the first 50 vehicles registered. Registration begins at 10:30 AM and the show begins at 11:00 AM. Prizes and awards handed out at 3:00 PM. Decorations are encouraged, but not required. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, bake sale and t-shirts available for purchase. Proceeds from the car show benefit The Arthur "Peewee" Conley Memorial Scholarship.

The Blood Connection will be at the festival with a mobile blood drive from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Donors will receive a $40 eGift card.
Make sure to walk around downtown to see the featured guests, the scarecrows, created by local businesses, organizations and groups, that will be displayed throughout downtown Pearisburg.
Admission is free and all are welcome. Some activities have an additional charges.
Parking is available on the street or in parking lots off Tazewell Street and Mountain Lake Avenue.
