Description:
The Virginia Tech School of Performing Arts continues their 2023/2024 Music on Mondays series featuring Trombonist John Sipher on Monday, October 2, 2023 in the Squires Recital Salon located within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.

John Sipher has been the principal trombonist of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra since 2015. Prior to his current position, he has held principal trombone positions with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra, the Richmond Symphony Orchestra, and was a fellow at the New World Symphony.

The program includes works by John Sipher, Astor Piazzola, Béla Bartók, Marc Mellits and Alan Bern.

Admission is $15.00 for the general public, $12.00 for seniors and $10.00 for students.

The Squires Recital Salon is located at 290 College Avenue in Blacksburg, VA within the Squires Student Center on the campus of Virginia Tech.
