The Alzheimer's Association Program in partnership with Radford Public Library presents the program "Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia" on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.

Alzheimer's Disease is not a normal part of aging. It's a progressive and fatal brain disease and is the most common form of dementia. This program is for anyone who would like to know more about how Alzheimer's affects the brain, detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, treatment, and much more. Sandwiches, chips, fruits, and vegetables will be available during the presentation.

Radford Public Library is located at 30 West Main Street in Radford, VA.
