The inaugural Star City StrongFest will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Elmwood Park in Roanoke, VA.

Check out the premier of Star City StrongFest! Enjoy family activities, food, feats of strength, exhibitors & vendors and fun for free at this wellness-focused festival!

The festival is a one-day event in the heart of the City of Roanoke. The day is highlighted by two Strongman competitions featuring a large field of athletes from across the world, the 8th annual Star City Strongman and the u90kg Professional Strongman League.

Strongman is a strength sport that typically features five "events", that's Strongman lingo for lifts. It is known for its incredible feats of strength and supportive, diverse community.

You can expect to see yoke carries, atlas stone lifts, circus dumbbell presses, max weight/rep deadlifts and more! Locally, Strongman has been supported by Star City Strongman in its official capacity for eight years.

All are welcome and spectators are free.

Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Partnership for Community Wellness.
