Virginia Tech Track & Field hosts the annual Hokie Invitational on Friday, January 21, 2022 and Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Virginia Tech's Rector Field House.

Virginia Tech track and field hosts its second meet of the year this weekend, as 11 schools join the Hokies for the Hokie Invitational. The Hokies will be joined by 11 other programs this weekend, including seven ACC schools (Louisville, Virginia, Duke, Clemson, Wake Forest, NC State, North Carolina), Tennessee, UNC Charlotte, UCF and Georgetown.

Action begins with the heptathlon and pentathlon Friday morning at 10:30 AM, before open events kick off at 4:00 PM. Competition resumes Saturday at 9:00 AM.

Admission and parking are both free for spectators. For those attending, please read Virginia Tech Athletics' new vaccination announcement and comply with all COVID-19 related policies.

Admission is free for all spectators and parking is available in the lots surrounding Rector Field House.

Effective Saturday, January 15th, 2022, Virginia Tech Athletics will institute a policy requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid test taken within 72 hours for indoor events. Face masks continue to be required and must be worn during all home indoor athletic events.
