Kent Jewelers, Blacksburg Junior Women's Club and Downtown Blacksburg, Inc. present the 11th Annual Pretty in Pink Happy Hour Fundraiser in the Kent Square Atrium in Blacksburg, VA on Thursday, October 17, 2019.

Schedule of Events:
• 5:00-7:15 PM: Silent Auction
• 6:30 PM: Flamenco Performance with Ole at VT
• 7:30 PM: Silent Auction & Bra Dazzle Winners Announced

Join us for a fun evening of drinks, heavy hors d'oeuvres, music with DJ Earl Brown, dancing performances and great company to help raise funds for the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF). Wear pink, raise funds and fight breast cancer!

The annual silent auction will be open from 5:00-7:15 pm. All bid sheets will be collected and winners will be announced by DJ Earl Brown at 7:30 pm. All baskets must be paid for and picked up inside Kent Jewelers immediately following the event.

“Dancing for the Cure” returns with a flamenco performance by Ole at Virginia Tech at 6:30 pm.

Win a diamond! With a $5.00 donation, you will receive a pink cupcake with a genuine gemstone inside for sale at both Kent Jewelers and Next Door Bakeshop. One of the gemstones is a diamond. The cupcakes will be available for purchase from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm or when they run out. Note: Last year they sold out at 3:00 pm.

The 2nd annual Bra-Dazzle competition, open to Virginia Tech students as well as community members. Bra-Dazzle is a competition that challenges participants to use only a 34C Bra, their imagination and the theme of "Fighting Breast Cancer" to come up with extraordinary designs. Voting will continue until 7:00 pm. The public can vote for their favorites. Votes are $1.00 per vote or $5.00 for six votes.

All are welcome. Donations will be accepted.

In addition to the happy hour, look for pink ribbons throughout downtown Blacksburg from 10:00 am until 8:00 PM. Buy and eat at participating downtown Blacksburg businesses who will donate 15% of their sales.
