Description:
The 2018 Montgomery County Extension Fair will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 and Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Alphin-Stuart Livestock Teaching Arena at Virginia Tech.

Saturday Schedule:
• 9:45-10:00 am: Opening Program
• 10:00 am: Livestock Shows begin
• 10:00 am - 1:30 pm: Demonstrations & Activities
• 10:30 am: Hog Show with Cattle Show following immediately
• 11:30 am: Chicken & Rabbit Parade
• 12:00-3:00 pm: 4-H Exhibits Open to the Public
• 1:00-2:30 pm: Fun Fair Games
• 1:00 pm: Goat Show with Sheep Show following immediately

The fair includes a livestock and horse show, exhibits, demonstrations, fair games, activities for kids, and more! For many of the youth activities, both 4-H and non 4-H members can participate (fair exhibits, games). Adults are also eligible to enter fair exhibits.

The Fun Fair Games are open to all youth attending the fair.

• 4-H Project Showcase with Hands-On Kids Activities
• Horticulture and Gardening
• Rain Barrels
• Kids Gardening Activities

Admission is free and all are welcome.

Lunch concessions will be available on both Saturday and Sunday.
