Midtown is sponsoring a Downtown Blacksburg Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 1:30-5:00 pm.

Midtown, a planned new community for the site of the old Blacksburg Middle School, will host the Scavenger Hunt around downtown Blacksburg during Summer Solstice Fest 2018! The game is designed to familiarize participants with downtown sights and businesses, and provide a fun challenge for all ages.

The Scavenger Hunt comprises various missions throughout downtown Blacksburg, including GPS check-ins, photos, and questions. Prizes will be given to the top three teams.

To play:
1. Download the GooseChase Android or iPhone app.
2. Log in with your email or Facebook account.
3. Find the game: “Solstice Hunt” in Blacksburg, VA.
4. Complete as many missions as you can.
5. Have fun and don’t forget to tag #MeetMidtown

The Scavenger Hunt is free to play and all ages are welcome.

In addition, Midtown will be offering free festival parking, restroom facilities and a ready station with sunscreen, water and more during Summer Solstice.

Midtown is located at 501 South Main Street in Blacksburg, VA at the site of the old Blacksburg Middle School.
