The Chance Harman Memorial Fund presents the 2018 Annual Chance Harman Classic Basketball Tournament on Friday, January 5, 2018 and Saturday, January 6, 2018.

The Chance Harman Memorial Fund will be celebrating it’s 11th anniversary as some of the biggest and brightest stars of Prep Boys Basketball invade Floyd County!

Saturday Game Schedule:
• 9:00 am - Christiansburg vs. Patrick Henry
• 10:30 am - Giles vs. George Wythe
• 12:00 pm - North Cross vs. Northwest Guilford (NC)
• 1:30 pm - Roanoke Catholic vs. Teays Valley Christian School (West VA)
• 3:00 pm - E.C. Glass vs. Northside
• 4:30 pm - Calvary Day School vs. Mount Mission
• 6:00 pm - Floyd County vs. Gate City
• 7:30 pm - Oak Hill Academy vs. Blue Ridge School
• 9:00 pm - Masanutten Military Academy vs. Hargrave Military Academy

Note: Cape Henry Collegiate was originally scheduled to compete however had to cancel due to the weather. They were replaced by Calvary Day School.

The Chance Harman Classic is held annually at Floyd County High School in Floyd, Virginia. This year’s list of participants include numerous Division 1 basketball signees and recruits and teams the likes of Gate City (VA), Blue Ridge School (VA), Hargrave Military Academy (VA) and, who many call the greatest prep program of all-time, Oak Hill Academy along with many local high school teams!

Tickets are available per day or for both days of the Classic. VIP tickets are also available for the weekend and include a reserved seat at half court behind the scorers table for all games and a $10.00 concessions credit for both Friday and Satuday.

Chance Harman Memorial Fund (CHMF) is a 501(c)3 Not-for-profit organization based in Floyd, Virginia that raises awareness and research for the medical advancement of Pediatric Brain Cancer. CHMF was formed in 2007 to honor Chance Harman, the son of Brian and Desirae Harman, and his battle with Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor, a rare for of a medulloblastoma childhood brain tumor also known as ATRT. Through the strong support of a small community in Southwest Virginia, CHMF has grown into the premier regional prep basketball event in Virginia.
