Radford High School presents the 50th Anniversary Celebration for Bobcat Stadium on Friday, November 3, 2017 starting on the Radford High School Practice Field.
Join us in celebrating the highlights, the accomplishments and history of Bobcat Stadium over its first 50 years. All former football players, cheerleaders, band members, coaches, track members, soccer players and fans are invited back for this celebration of our beautiful stadium.
Celebration highlights will include the accomplishments, history and recognition of those who have made the stadium a special place within the community, Taste of Radford Fundraiser, pre-game meal, football game ball drop from a helicopter, cancer survivor lap and a Purple Out where all fans are encouraged to where purple to the event and football game.
Taste of Radford will feature food samples donated by local restaurants and all proceeds will be donated to the Students vs. Cancer organization starting at 4:30 pm. The cost is $5.00 per individual and $10.00 per family and includes entrance into the Radford High School football game.
A pre-game meal will also be available for purchase provided by the Radford City Food Schools food service department for a small cost.
Bobcat memorabilia will be for sale with proceeds benefiting the Students vs. Cancer organization. The track at the stadium will also be open for a walking and will include a special Cancer Survivors' Lap.
The Students vs. Cancer organization helps many within the Radford school community who have been or continue to battle with some form of cancer.
