Description:
Multiple Arts Collective presents a three band concert featuring ONWE, NIcholas Nicholas, Skip Town at Gillie's on Wednesday, April 1st.
SKIP TOWN (mem. of oddy knocky, local, you know them you love them)
"Nicholas Nicholas is the hazy dark-pop project of Brooklyn's Chris Masullo and friends. Masullo self released his debut Comfort Falls in 2013-- a "vaporware take on a John Hughes film" according to Portals. Nicholas Nicholas' sophomore effort 'Wrong' was released on cassette via Miscreant Records in August of 2014, recognized by FADER as "a triumph of morning dew and melodrama" The band is preparing a new release for 2015."

"Brooklyn cyberpunk David Welles began ONWE with the intention of re-envisioning the rock-star persona, the likes of “Ziggy Stardust”, within millennial social media culture. The band became something much more when Lydia Gammill (bass) and Jordan Stern (guitar) backed the band live. This integration of the sexes subtly acknowledges and challenges the gender-norms of the rock band archetype.
In less than a year, the band has toured Europe, released a full-length mixtape, and produced two of their own videos. With their sights set high, these Brooklyn art-stars plan to continue traveling the globe playfully critiquing American culture with their smart lyrics and catchy riffs."
