The City of Radford presents their "Spirit of America Celebration" on Friday, July 4th in Bisset Park located in Radford, VA.

Enjoy a full day of live music, free children's games and attractions, vendors, festival food and of course fireworks!

Music will be headlined by Country Music Association (CMA) Hall of Fame member and Statler Brother Jimmy Fortune. Opening for Jimmy Fortune will be country singer T. Graham Brown who has recorded a total of 13 studio albums, and has charted more than 20 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.

Schedule of Events:
• 2-8 pm - Free Children’s Activities (including Inflatables, Giant Water Slide, Climbing Wall, Trackless Train and much more)
• 2-4 pm - Live remote broadcast by Classic Country 98.1 FM with Sherry Boyd and Derrick Davis
• 2 pm - Sam Moore & The Farley’s with Barry Collins
• 3 pm - The Castaways (Beach Band)
• 4:30 pm - The Glorylanders
• 5:30 pm - Opening Ceremonies and National Anthem with Radford Mayor Bruce Brown
• 5:45 pm - Patriotic Readings with Dr. Dick Harshberger
• 6:30 pm - T Graham Brown
• 8 pm - Jimmy Fortune
• 10 pm - FIREWORKS sponsored by Third Security

Note: All musical performances will be held at the gazebo.

NOTE: In the event of SEVERE weather on July 4th, the evening portion of the Spirit of America program with T Graham Brown and Jimmy Fortune will be moved to the auditorium at Radford High School located at 50 Dalton Drive in Radford, 24141 starting at 6:30 pm. A decision on the weather status will be made on July 3rd and will be posted on the City of Radford website: http://www.radford.va.us
