The Christiansburg Library hosts a special program on The Great Backyard Bird Count on Friday, February 15th at 2 pm.

Learn about the Great Backyard Bird Count, an annual four-day event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds. Local photographer Bob Abraham will also be on hand to present photos and information about birds of the Eastern Shore. You’ll find the information you need to “bone up” on your bird ID skills, learn how to attract birds to your feeder area and how to involve children. At 2:30 pm, we’ll see a funny PG film about birds.
