Description:
The Christiansburg Recreation Department presents the 1st Annual Youth Basketball Free-For-All on Saturday, February 25th. The event will include Hot Shot, Dribble/Pass and 1 on 1 competitions for both boys and girls if there are enough competitors otherwise the genders will be combined.

Hot Shot and Dribble/Pass competitions will be offered for the following age groups: 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, 13/14. 1 on 1 competition will be offered for the age groups: 9/10, 11/12 and 13/14 and will be a double elimination format.

The event will begin at 9:30 am and will last as long as necessary.

Ages are based on the participant's age as of March 1st, 2012. First and Second place medal will be awarded for all events as well as a combined score award for Hot Shot and Dribble/Pass.

You must be preregistered to compete. Registration is available from Tuesday, January 3rd until Friday, February 17th. A valid birth certificate or copy must be presented during registration.

Rules for all competitions will be available upon registration. All Christiansburg Department of Parks and Recreation rules and policies must be followed during this event including no drinks or food in the gym.
