Radford University College of Visual & Performing Arts presents the 29th Infantry Division Virginia Army National Guard Big Band in concert on Friday, February 20, 2026 in Performance Hall located within the Covington Center on the campus of Radford University.

The Virginia Army National Guard Big Band will feature a set list that pays homage to the WWII era big band sound of Major Glenn Miller. Other selections include works by Count Basie, Sammy Nestico, Eddie Harris, and Benny Golson.

Admission is free and open to the public.

We welcome everyone to attend the pre-show discussion and Q&A, one hour prior to performance, where members of the band will discuss the Army National Guard Bandsman career field and take questions from the audience.
