Description:
New River Land Trust presents the annual Banff Mountain Film Festival on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Moss Arts Center at Virginia Tech.
Join the New River Land Trust when Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival World Tour brings the spirit of outdoor adventure to Blacksburg. The Blacksburg showing will feature films such as Free to Run, about UN Human Rights Attorney and mountain runner Stephanie Case's struggle to help female runners in Afghanistan, and Wild Waters, the story of Nouria Newman, the most gifted kayaker of her generation.
Regular tickets are $17.00 and VIP tickets are $22.00.
Tickets are available on the Moss Arts Center website at: https://tickets.artscenter.vt.edu/Online/mapSelect.asp.
Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the work of New River Land Trust: Conserving farmland, forests, open spaces and historic places in Virginia’s New River region since 2002.
Films start at 7:00 PM and doors open at 6:00 PM.
