Description:
The Virginia Tech Hokies baseball team hosts their annual Fall World Series featuring a five game series with each game lasting seven innings at English Field beginning on Tuesday, October 22nd.

During the Fall World Series, the team will split into two teams. Rather than split into the traditional school colors for the game, the Hokies have decided to bring attention to two worthy causes and will name their squads – Team Autism Awareness and Team Anti-Bullying. The teams will be wearing special shirts in honor of each cause, while literature will be available to inform those fans in attendance.

The dates of the series are Tuesday and Friday, October 22 and 25 both with 5:30 pm start times. Due to weather, there will be a "To Be Determined" game that will either be played Wednesday or Thursday night depending on the weather. The final two games will be Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27 with a 10 am first pitch for each game.

All Fall World Series games are open to the public and admission to English Field is free.
